During quarantine I decided to learn more about different styles of design, where I stumbled upon traditional celtic symbls and designs. I really loved the intertwining movement and circulator patterns that make up traditional celtic knots. These patterns reminded me of the eb and flow of the ocean. A popular Canadian photographer, Kyler Vos, had posted a stunning picture of a humpback whale swimming deep in the ocean around the same time which inspired this "Celtic Whale".
