At the beginning of spring when the days were still on the shorter side and evidence of the first budding of life could be spotted an owl began to visit our neighborhood. It became a fun family game to try and spot the owl.  So I began to have owls on the brain for some months that followed. Though I can proudly boast of spotting the owl, twice!
