Today will be less about words and stories and more about seeing the offbeat oddities that jump from my brain to page in my lovely travelers sketchbook. I love flipping through the leatherbound pages watching the threads of different trips, journeys and adventures weave themselves together in a uniquely playful way. Maybe you can decipher the periods of time where I have been travelling in the PNW vs the the pieces that were a product of my time spent on the beach or brooding about in cozy Copenhagen. Some pieces were created in airports, on air planes or while sitting at a climbing crag taking a blessed break. Different inspirations, styles and moods can be found with each flip of the page and most importantly the imperfections that remain binded with its brothers. I have repeated fairly frequently the importance of allowing yourself to create something that in the end you look at and realize its weird, vile or just a chaotic mess of a page. It's something that allows you to grow, to have fun and to relax while trying to make something different and unique. It is why I have decided to share every page with you and not just the ones I like.
